Made me laugh for two reasons though  Pfft, it was a picture of me eating ice cream ironically, but recently had a foot of snow, so I belly flopped and ended up with snow getting in my nose and mouth.....the more ya know~ |

So...left for work one day and saw a friend, he was like:
Friend:"Hey man what's up?"
Me:"Hey, nothin' much, whatchu doin'?"
Friend:"Not much, just slept with a girl and now i'm a father."
Me:"Bruh.........wtf man......just wtf......"
Friend:"Nah, i'm just playin', it was a dude, and we just got engaged"
Me:*Stops in the middle of the sidewalk for a good 20secs*
Come to find out my friend is gay and is now engaged, never knew and I knew him for 5 years. So I congratulated him and continued to work.
Point of this, it's a very big and unpredicting world, so, get out there and learn~
PS:If this seemed negative in any way, that's not the intention, I know speaking about others personal characteristics is not liked, just thought it was a fulfilling experience worth sharing.

Your reaction though... It's funny no matter the orientation (homosexual or 30 degrees...), although I can't see that your friend would take it as such a funny occurrence. I will agree that those sort of jokes are usually a touchy subject. |

Yeah, topic wise it was serious, the way it was talked out, while meant to be joke oriented, it did make things awkward, but i'm a positive person, so i'm always lookin' towards the light of most things.
Meaning,
Coworker:"Hey, ya 'bout done with that order?"
Me:"Not yet, gotta get them their meal."
Coworker:"Well, ya better hurry u-"
Me:*Drops bag of a customers food and splatters everywhere*".....so, hungry?"

List of weird things that I stumbled on today: 1. Freejam has a website, and its not RC.com - freejamgames.com/ it's pretty pathetic 2. Making reference to Geordi LaForge while talking to the girls I know is a bad idea; Girl tries to poke my eyes, don't ask why (teenager thing, assumably) Me: Jeez, now I know another reason to wear Geordi's visor... Girl: What are you talking about? 3. Large amounts of oddly articulated text hurt the brains of people I hang around with irl; they usually completely miss the meaning of stuff when I start using big words for the fun of it (which is partly the reason for my use of big words - I like to watch people squirm sometimes) 4. I have no understanding of what a serious relationship is (this one is here just because of the obligatory bit of wallowing in self-pity because I'm single and it's Valentine's day...). The reason I figured this out is due to socialising on said day. 5. Star Trek is a man's best friend to ostracise non-nerdy people. |

Today, we got to do speed dating in French class (odd on its own) with characters that we made up. I gave a Chell character to someone. I ended up talking to them.
(This was originally in French, but meh...)
Me: What do you do in your spare time?
Chell: Well, I recently won a cake eating competition by eating 36 cakes in one minute.
Me: Was that psychologically pleasing?
Chell: Definitely!

Today, there was a storm that is expected to drop about 40cm of snow, in one day. That's a lot, in case anyone wasn't sure about that. Two interesting things that I heard:
The news report:
"In traffic, there's a backed up section of [street] because there are multiple snowplow trucks stuck on the road"
Yes, that actually happened.
The announcement:
One minute before school ends, our principal comes on the PA system: "So, because of the large amount of snow outside, I'm encouraging everyone to leave quickly and calmly and to make it home safely. All afterschool activities are cancelled."
Yes, school was cancelled one minute before school ended. We were even let out a minute early.
