Triforce us for losers who think they are awesome (in most cases) but still its an important question. So anyone willing to enlighten us noobs? I myself have never triforced a bot except for some hidden tetras for absorbing damage before entering main body

Blocks that do not visually connect do not connect in any other way either. Damage will not transfer into blocks that are not connected to it. For example, a prism by a block \[] (the prism is \, the full block is []) are not visually connected to each other nor will damage transfer from one to the other. A prism like /[] will transfer damage and be connected. A good way to know if two blocks are connected is to place the pilot seat on one, and if the other turns red it won't transfer damage. That is the basic of triforcing, or damage redirection for those who enjoy being wordy.

That is the basic of triforcing, or damage redirection for those who enjoy being wordy. I enjoy being wordy , anyway damage redirection works in most cases, for those who don't know how to start, just use aerorords place an aerorod on one block, then surround it with other blocks up to the top but don't put a block on the other end, and there you go! So for what is triforcing good? Well for one it can take a rail hit no matter how much higher the mk of the rail and how much lower the mk of the armor, just remember that damage has to go somewhere, so if your armor is mk1 against a mk10 rail, the damage is going to go straight in your bot, and potentially in your pilot seat, damage redirection won't keep you alive for longer though, it'll only give increased survivability to specific components, so one good start is to make hull plating around your bot, essentially armor that doesn't touch your inside and then you tie that to let's say the back of your bot, while that might give you overall less survivability, it could help in taking long range shots easier. So, triforcing is good against: 1.Taking MORE than one rail shot 2.Giving your components increased survivability 3.Long range artillery, or single shots
So, what triforcing isn't good against: 1.Close range smg 2.Close range plasma(and even long range plasma, depends on your triforcing and the plasma's aiming) 3.Multiple rail shots 4.Tesla
So, i hoped this helped the newbies that are going to come around here soon, maybe, i'll make a video on general triforcing and post it here, just because the video is easier to understand,so NGniusses, do i have permission to post a youtube video, possibly tomorrow, since there are no forum rules:/ ?
